Zaporizhzhia Highway over the Dnipro River

The construction of the highway across the Dnipro River in Zaporizhzhia began in 2004 but was suspended in 2016. Our team took responsibility for completing this vital project at the end of 2019. This project became a significant milestone, with its main goal being to establish a reliable transport connection between the right and left banks of Zaporizhzhia and the southeastern region of Ukraine.

The highway provides an uninterrupted link between the right-bank and left-bank districts of Zaporizhzhia via Khortytsia Island, with a total length of 9.1 km. It includes 27 artificial structures with a total length of 4.7 km, as well as 13 overpasses and 12 suspension bridges.

Thanks to our team’s collective efforts, the bridge construction became a reality. We successfully overcame numerous bureaucratic, managerial, financial, and engineering challenges, ensuring minimal corruption risks while maintaining high construction standards.
