The project combines practical steps with long-term strategic goals, aligning national interests with EU integration priorities. Its results serve as a foundation for further modernization of Ukraine’s transport sector, positioning it as a driver of sustainable growth and greater presence on the European market.
Key activities include:
- conducting a gap analysis of Ukraine’s transport legislation to assess compliance with Chapter 14 of the EU acquis (“Transport Policy”);
- developing practical recommendations for shaping Ukraine’s negotiation stance on sectors such as rail, maritime and inland water transport, and road tolling systems;
- organizing roundtables and workshops with government, business, and civil society to discuss findings and agree on key adaptation priorities.
