The project combines practical advocacy tools with a long-term strategic vision. It takes into account the needs of territorial communities, the priorities of Ukraine’s recovery, and the country’s European integration agenda. The expected results create a foundation for more transparent management of public funds, the development of dialogue between authorities and communities, and the strengthening of democratic institutions.
The main areas of activity within the project include:
- conducting an analytical study on the decentralization of public investments, examining European practices, and preparing recommendations to improve Ukraine’s PIM model;
- implementing advocacy and information campaigns, including the publication of a podcast series, organization of online workshops, preparation of materials for media and social networks, as well as consultations with international partners, the government, and parliament;
- organizing a final conference to present the project results and coordinate further steps to strengthen the role of local self-government in the public investment reform.
