This year, the strategic partner of the Forum was the We Build Ukraine Think Tank, which promotes the development of solutions for the reconstruction and modernization of the Ukrainian economy.

“We believe that the reconstruction of Ukraine must be based on a strategic vision, a partnership between the state, business, and the public sector,”

said Anna Yurchenko, co-founder of the We Build Ukraine Think Tank.

The event brought together more than 250 representatives of governmental structures of Poland and Ukraine, local self-government, financial institutions, and business, creating a platform for dialogue on the future economic recovery of Ukraine.

“Poland wants to play an active role in the reconstruction of Ukraine. We have the potential, experience, and support tools. The implementation of projects within the framework of the Ukraine Facility and in cooperation with BGK will open up new opportunities for entrepreneurs,”

noted Michał Jaros.

The first panel was dedicated to the potential of sectoral cooperation in the field of infrastructure and construction. Discussions touched upon strategic planning for the development of linear infrastructure, personnel training, the introduction of innovative technologies, and increasing the efficiency of construction processes.

“The Polish side came to Lviv with a proposal of competencies, verified solutions, and readiness for joint actions. I believe that today’s conversations will bring concrete projects for the reconstruction of Ukrainian cities,”

emphasized Maria Lubyan.

Subsequent sessions covered issues of state support for investors, legal regulation of the construction industry, and mechanisms for investment protection. In the financial block, representatives of BGK, PFR TFI, UkraineInvest, and the World Bank presented instruments for financing reconstruction projects.
