We Build Ukraine has prepared an analytical brief following the roundtable “Municipal PPPs in Ukraine: How to Attract Private Capital for Community Reconstruction.”
The event took place on June 24, 2026, on the sidelines of the Ukraine Recovery Conference 2026 in Gdańsk. It was organized by We Build Ukraine together with the “Razom z Kernel” Charitable Foundation and Kernel, in partnership with the Confederation of Builders of Ukraine.
During the discussion, representatives of municipalities, businesses, international partners, and the expert community discussed how public-private partnerships can help Ukrainian communities attract private capital for reconstruction and development projects.
The analytical brief summarizes the key takeaways from the discussion: what currently limits the development of municipal PPPs in Ukraine, what barriers are identified by communities and investors, and what practical steps can make this instrument more effective.
