A We Build Ukraine analytical brief on the consequences of intensified Russian attacks on Ukraine’s port and logistics infrastructure. The paper examines the extent to which the Danube, rail, and road routes can compensate for the loss of maritime exports, how port blockades affect agricultural producers, foreign exchange earnings, and food markets, as well as the measures needed to maintain the resilience of Ukraine’s export system. Particular attention is paid to protecting the entire export network, encouraging shipowners to return to Ukrainian ports, and developing alternative export corridors.
