We Build Ukraine is conducting an anonymous survey of local government representatives on the technical readiness of communities for the challenges of the 2026–2027 winter season.
In the previous survey, we assessed the overall preparedness of communities. This time, we want to take a closer look at which technical solutions are already in place, where challenges arise, and what support is lacking on the ground.
The aim of the survey is to build an overall picture of communities’ needs and understand what technical support will be most needed during the winter.
Based on its findings:
👉 a consolidated report will be prepared and published;
👉 the aggregated findings will be presented to humanitarian and donor organizations;
👉 communities will be able to see common technical challenges and solutions that can help them prepare for winter.
❗️ IMPORTANT: the survey is fully anonymous. We do not collect the names of communities, officials’ personal details, facility addresses, technical specifications of equipment, protection schemes, resilience plans, or any other sensitive information. No community rankings will be compiled.
