The We Build Ukraine think tank is expanding civil society’s role in developing and implementing community development strategies. These efforts are based on the real needs of residents—including veterans, youth, IDPs, people with limited mobility, and other vulnerable groups—through the use of local democracy tools.
During project implementation:
- we involve active residents and CSOs in strategic planning to ensure that development strategies reflect actual community needs;
- we provide citizens with information about effective tools for influencing community development decisions, and equip CSOs with the skills and knowledge for meaningful participation;
- we conduct thematic online trainings and workshops for CSOs and local governments;
- we offer expert support for implementing project ideas;
- we launch online platforms for collaboration among community members, CSOs, local governments (LGs), LG associations, local businesses, and expert communities.
